Today’s self-portrait was inspired by the “Lie to me” main character – Cal Lightman – played by Tim Roth.
I really like such face closeups. You can see the shapes in irises, skin texture and hair. Beautiful.
My fingers are telling you that everything is there, inside. All you need to do is think. Or at least that’s what I wanted to show…

Simple yet powerful two-light setup. The main light is big and soft. I used a 2-meter diffusing panel for that purpose. Second light should be hard, I used a snoot to have control over the spill.
Depending on the angle of the panel you can achieve less or more dark shadows.
