Week 9 – The Pixelated
Info
The pixelation is not any new concept, however, I had no inspiration creating this image. It poped into my head some time ago and just didn’t want to leave.
These two images show how the “unknown” brand flows into my body and posses it. Actually, it’s a story I have just created. I have no idea what this picture means. You can interpret it anyway you want. Just remember to share your thoughts in comments.
After a bit more of thinking, it came up to me that what I really meant, was that we are created from everything we do, read, listen to, watch, eat, feel, see, meet…
The way we are depends on everything.
Tech
1/400s, f10
A simple 3-light setup. Two lights in front of each other exactly at 90 degrees from camera-subject axis. Third light was set to get proper shadow on the wall. Side strobes at 1/8th power and 85mm, front one at 1/16th and 24mm.
Now I want your opinions. What do you think? What do you feel? Leave your thoughts in comments

Fantastic concept.
Your arm in the first image is a little overexposed for my taste, but everything else is spot on.
I would be interested in seeing more like this.
@alex The arm wasn’t overexposed, it got bright in post while adding global contrast, I could fix it with mask, but I actually like it that way. You can also see that on the right, my face is as much overexposed. IMHO it makes an interesting balance.
This is so cool. Love it.
