Week 31 – The Idea
Info
An idea… It can pop into your head without any warning. During a day, at night, during a walk, at work, under a shower, with tea, coffee, or juice in your hand, while listening to music, while watching a movie, at a theater, while eating, while cooking, reading a book or a news paper.
Ideas are everywhere, even in the clearest, cloudless sky. We look around, process the world through all our experiences, memories, feelings and knowledge and.. bam! Here it is!
Everyone is different, and so anyone can invent something nobody else could ever think about. And that is beautiful.
Tech
50mm, 1/400s, f9, ISO 200
I used a fairly simple 3-light set-up. Two main sources were placed on-axis. A softbox just below the camera and a silver reflective umbrella over it. Background was a 50% gray seamless lighted with a red-gelled strobe.
Trivia
This shot was taken while I was at my place in Koszalin. I was looking through my usual photography resources and the idea just poped up. I thought I haven’t used red color much in my pictures, and it’s a good time to change that.
Take care.
