3 x 50 – Three Projects for the New Year

As my self-esteem grows, my photography skills consolidate and my spirit rises,  I decided to start 3 new projects for 2010. First of all I decided to trim the year to 50 weeks. First one as a start-up and the last as it’s holidays and noone would really have time for it.

50 weeks, 50 stories, 50 auto portraits…

I haven’t taken many self portraits so far but I’m really pleased with the ones I did. I would like to make it a habit and a self-developing exercise. Going full-time with a 365 project is not an option for me. Although I have visited my fellow deviantArt photographer’s new blog, What I have shown you is reality…. Carmi just started a second 52-week project herself. She’s really creative, you can check her project on flickr. I got really inspired by that challenge and decided to try it myself.

In Search for Style.

I like that title. It’s obvious and says exactly the purpose of the project. In Search for Style is going to be a series of articles dedicated to creativity and inspirations. Friday Links were fun but way too limited, this time it will be like Links on steroids. I will be showing you inspiring art, talking about imagination and invention, hosting interviews and more. I’m really curious how it will turn up!

Thinking about…

This project is completely not photo-related. In December I begun to write down my thoughts about things I encounter in my everyday life. Since I live in Poland, the topics are somehow related to polish society and milieu. I decided to write those articles in my mother tongue, which is polish.

Don’t worry, I came up with a way to not include those posts in my photography stream. It means that you need to got to http://marcinretecki.com/pl/ to view any polish posts. If you interested in arts only, stay here and you should be safe ;) However, if you speak polish and would like to engage in conversation, be my guest!
