Recent Finds

Mar 14 2010

Let’s begin with Old Spice’s amazing advert, I know it’s a month old, but well…
“Hello ladies”

Ok, now something completely different. Quite recent news is that a few cameramen have switched from those big and heavy blocks into Canon 7D, below a nice teaser of the rig:

Last one for today, Bufori cars:

I have never enough of those, do you?

Blogs

The photography blogosphere is very busy lately, it’s just impossible to keep up. I add new ones and remove old (inactive) ones weekly. I try to keep not more than 50 that I read regularly, otherwise I wouldn’t have time for anything else.

Below is a selection of the most interesting finds from last week:

Norman Cavazzana – Very interesting, although strange photography, they definitely are worth checking as they have interesting feel and quite a few ideas I haven’t seen anywhere else. (watch out, the navigation is tricky…)

Koen Demuynck – Exquisite photo-manipulations and neat ideas, certainly worth checking. (my fav is People portfolio)

Marc Da Cunha Lopes – I have mentioned him on twitter a few times, he’s got incredible ideas, mostly photo-manipulated, but it doesn’t take away their creativeness.

Piotr Stryjewski – A Polish-British accent for the end. No 4 from commercial portfolio is insanely beautiful, a few other amazing as well. (watch out for About section, it can crash Chrome and Firefox)

Ok, so that’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed some of this straightforward creativity. Tomorrow the new week begins so stay tuned for the brand new self-portrait.

Update: The blog is now completely compatible with iPhone and probably many other mobiles. This week I will be preparing 50 Weeks Project so that it’ll look as good on a phone as on the big screen. Cheers!
